Dia de los Muertos is a traditional holiday celebrated in Mexico and by Latin Americans living in the US. Because San Francisco has a large Latino community, an annual event is held to commemorate this holiday.

This year will be the 11 years of honoring the artistry of Hip Hop Dance.
The event will take place at the Palace of Fine Arts.

Get into the Christmas spirit by going to one (or all) of three different Tree Lighting Celebrations:
- (Nov. 22nd) The event will feature Bay Area groups performing seasonal favorites from 1pm - 6pm. The tree itself will be lit at 5:30pm in the Entrance Plaza.
- (Nov. 27th) This event usually begins around 12pm. If you want to get a good spot for the tree lighting, be there early because it gets full quickly. The Tree Lighting ceremony will be from 6:00 - 6:30pm.
- (Nov. 27th) Live entertainment for the entire Family. The lighting will be at 5:30pm.
