Upcoming SF Events!

San Francisco is all about having fun and doing stuff. You will notice that we host numerous events throughout the year to keep ourselves entertained. Hey, it's what we do. Don't miss out on any of them. Keep yourself updated with what's coming up. Here's a list of events that will take place on the following months. Tell your family and friends and go have some fun!!!
OCTOBER 2009

San Francisco Jazz Festival: (Oct. 10th - Nov. 21st)
The Jazz Festival is one of the biggest musical events in San Francisco featuring local, national and international jazz artists. Because the performances will be in different locations throughout San Francisco, visit the official site to find out where to go.

Pumpkin Pandemonium: (Oct. 25th)
Bring your children to this year's Pier 39's Pumpkin Pandemonium. Live entertainment and activities for all to enjoy: trick-or-treating, face paintings, costume contest, a pumpkin patch and much more. The event starts at 12pm until 4pm.
Don't forget your costumes!


NOVEMBER 2009

Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead): (Nov. 2nd)
Dia de los Muertos is a traditional holiday celebrated in Mexico and by Latin Americans living in the US. Because San Francisco has a large Latino community, an annual event is held to commemorate this holiday.

Hip Hop Dance Fest: (Nov. 20th - 22nd)
This year will be the 11 years of honoring the artistry of Hip Hop Dance.
The event will take place at the Palace of Fine Arts.

Tree Lighting Celebrations:
Get into the Christmas spirit by going to one (or all) of three different Tree Lighting Celebrations:

Pier 39 - (Nov. 22nd) The event will feature Bay Area groups performing seasonal favorites from 1pm - 6pm. The tree itself will be lit at 5:30pm in the Entrance Plaza.
Union Square - (Nov. 27th) This event usually begins around 12pm. If you want to get a good spot for the tree lighting, be there early because it gets full quickly. The Tree Lighting ceremony will be from 6:00 - 6:30pm.
Ghirardelli Square - (Nov. 27th) Live entertainment for the entire Family. The lighting will be at 5:30pm.
